Easy Chicken and Herb Penne
Yield: 4 Servings
vegetable cooking spray
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast halves; in 1″ pieces
1 tsp garlic powder; divided
2 can Swanson Seasoned broth with Italian; (14 1/2 oz. each)
2 3/4 c Penne Rigate or Mostaccioli; uncooked
16 oz any frozen vegetable combination
1/3 c grated Parmesan cheese
Spray a 5 quart saucepan with cooking spray; heat over Medium-High
heat 1 minutes. Add chicken sprinkled with 1/2 tsp. garlic powder;
cook 3 minutes or until browned. Add broth and remaining garlic
powder; heat to a boil. Stir in uncooked pasta. Simmer over Medium
heat for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in vegetables; cover
and cook 5 minutes or until pasta is tender and most liquid is
absorbed. Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Serves 4-6.
